Understanding your result

Manglik is one traditional consideration in marriage matching. This check shows Mangal dosha, its strength and any cancellation. It is never a verdict on a relationship; communication and shared choices matter. With uncertain birth time, unavailable checks remain undecided.

How the Manglik check works

Mangal dosha is checked from two reference points, the Lagna and the Moon. Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from either one marks it.

Counting the houses

Count signs from the reference sign to Mars, starting at 1. Mars in Tula with the Lagna in Vrishabha is the 6th; with the Moon in Kanya it is the 2nd.

Strength

From both references the dosha is counted as present; from only one it is mild. Many traditions read the mild form as minor.

Cancellation

Mars in its own signs (Mesh, Vrishchik) or exalted in Makar is the most widely accepted cancellation. Other popular exceptions are shown separately in your result, because traditions disagree on them.

Worked examples: three fictional charts

Each row is a fictional chart; houses are counted from the Lagna and from the Moon.

LagnaMoonMarsFrom LagnaFrom MoonResult

The same rules run in the free check above and in kundli matching.

Being Manglik is common: by these rules a large share of all charts qualify from one reference point. It is never a verdict on a person or a relationship.
