- How are charts calculated?
- Our own iAstroGuru Engine does real astronomical calculations: the Vedic sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and Vimshottari dasha. Western tools use the tropical zodiac with Placidus houses.
- How accurate is it?
- The advanced iAstroGuru Engine is tested for accuracy against trusted references. For 3 fictional births every planet and the Lagna agree within 1 arcminute; Panchang times agree within 3 minutes.
- Who writes the reports?
- Reports are automated interpretations of your calculated chart. Prepared with AI assistance and checked by our quality system. There are no human astrologers and no consultations.
- What does it cost?
- Free tools need no sign-in, and your first meaningful reading is free. Reports start at ₹199; one question starts at ₹20. You see the price before paying.
- What happens to my birth details?
- Running a free tool does not save your birth details. Saved charts and reports are private to your account. There are no advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
Methods
Vedic astrology is the default. Charts use the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa and whole-sign houses. Dashas follow the 120-year Vimshottari system from the Moon’s nakshatra. Kundli matching uses the eight Ashtakoota factors (36 points) with Manglik and Nadi checks.
Western tools use the tropical zodiac with Placidus houses; Chinese tools use the BaZi pillars and the year animal. Every calculation runs on our own server; birth details are not sent to an outside astrology service.
Accuracy checks
Planet positions, the Lagna, nakshatra, tithi and Panchang times are tested against trusted public references, and the tests run every time the code changes. Every reading passes multi-layer quality assurance before it is delivered.

Who is behind it
iAstroGuru is run by Shiv Shakti Software Solutions, an Udyam-registered sole proprietorship in New Delhi, India. It is an automated service: there are no human astrologers, phone consultations or live chats with astrologers.
