Retrograde means a planet appears to move backwards in the sky as seen from Earth. Mercury has not reversed its orbit, and this is not evidence that a difficult event will happen.

Global maximum and local visibility are different. An eclipse can occur elsewhere while remaining below your horizon. Never look directly at the Sun without suitable eclipse protection.
Solar eclipse
Lunar eclipse
Visibility is geometric, assuming a clear horizon; weather is not included. Lunar visibility includes the faint penumbral phase.
New and full Moons, five planets’ stations and global eclipse maxima for the next 12 months. Calendar apps display UTC events in their own time zone. Subscription refresh timing depends on your app.
Calculated by the advanced iAstroGuru Engine and tested for accuracy against trusted references. Vedic signs use Lahiri ayanamsa; Western signs use the seasonal tropical zodiac. Rahu and Ketu are mean lunar nodes, not planets. Positions are for the time this page loaded. Station times are numerical estimates, not a prediction of events in your life.

Good to know
It is apparent backwards motion as seen from Earth, caused by the relative motion of the planets. It does not predict problems or require changing your plans.
Vedic signs use the Lahiri sidereal zodiac. Western signs use the tropical zodiac tied to the seasons. These are different coordinate conventions for the same Moon.
We show the global maximum in UTC and your chosen time zone, and separately calculate whether any part is above the horizon at your city. Local maximum can occur at a different time.
Download imports a snapshot. Subscription lets your calendar app refresh the public feed on its own schedule. The sky feed rolls forward for 12 months; the festival feed stays on the selected year. No birth details are included.
