Your doshas at a glance
Aarav, the word dosha simply means a fault or imbalance. In Jyotish it names a combination of grahas that tradition asks you to understand and balance, not a sentence passed on your life. This report checks your chart for the eleven doshas people ask about most, and reads each one alongside the rest of your kundli.
What the checks found
Of the eleven checks, only two found anything, and both are gentle. Mangal dosha is present in its mild form: Mangal (Mars) is in your 1st house counted from the Lagna, your rising sign, but not counted from the Moon. Kemadruma, a pattern about the Moon standing alone, forms in your chart and is then cancelled by planets in the kendras, the angular houses.
The other nine are not present: Kaal Sarp, Pitra dosha, Grahan dosha, Guru Chandal, Shrapit, Angarak, Vish, Gandmool, and a running Sade Sati or Dhaiya. Saturn’s next period over your Moon, a Dhaiya, begins in August 2029, and your Sade Sati begins in October 2038. Both are covered in the chapter on Shani.
How to read a dosha
Your Lagna is Simha (Leo) at 6°18′ in Magha, and your Moon is in Tula (Libra) in Chitra pada 3. Everything in this report is counted from those two points. A dosha is always weighed with the strength of the rest of the chart, and yours is a strong chart: four grahas rise in your Lagna and Shani sits in its own sign.
It is also honest to say where each dosha comes from. Mangal dosha and Kemadruma are described in the classical texts. Kaal Sarp, Pitra, Grahan, Guru Chandal, Shrapit, Angarak, Vish and Gandmool are widely used today but come from later and regional traditions; Parashara does not name them. We check them because families ask about them, and we say plainly which is which.

Mangal dosha
Mangal dosha is the dosha most families ask about, because it is part of traditional kundli matching. It is counted when Mangal sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house, from the Lagna or from the Moon.
Where your Mangal sits
Your Mangal is in Simha at 25°16′, in Purva Phalguni pada 4, in your 1st house. Counted from the Lagna, that is one of the six dosha houses, so Mangal dosha is present from the Lagna. Counted from your Moon in Tula, Mangal is in the 11th, which is not a dosha house. Most traditions treat a dosha that forms from one reference point only as the mild form, and that is how your chart reads.
Simha is the sign of the Sun, a friend of Mars, so your Mangal sits comfortably. In your 1st house it gives energy, courage, a direct manner and a quick response when something matters to you. That same fire is what the dosha tradition asks you to handle with care in close relationships.
What softens it
Guru (Jupiter) sits in Simha beside your Mangal, in your 1st house. Many traditions count the company of Guru as one of the strongest softening factors for Mangal dosha: the planet of wisdom tempers the planet of heat. The engine records your dosha as mild rather than cancelled, because the most widely agreed cancellations (Mars in its own or exaltation sign) do not apply here, but the presence of Guru is a real and traditional reassurance.
In matching, Mangal dosha is balanced when both partners share it. A partner with the same mild form, or any Mangal dosha of their own, balances yours by the classical rule, and the full Guna Milan and both charts are always read together before any conclusion.
Living with it well
Mangal in the Lagna asks for an outlet. Regular exercise, a sport or any physical discipline keeps its energy constructive. In relationships, agree early on how you will handle disagreements, and let your warmth, which is strong in this chart, lead your words.
Kaal Sarp and the nodes
Rahu and Ketu, the lunar nodes, are always exactly opposite each other. Kaal Sarp is said to form when all seven planets fall on one side of their axis.
Why Kaal Sarp is not formed
In your chart the planets sit on both sides of the Rahu–Ketu axis, so Kaal Sarp is not formed. Shani in Makara falls on one side, while Surya in Karka, Chandra in Tula and the four grahas in Simha fall on the other. There is nothing to address here.
Kaal Sarp is one of the later traditions: it does not appear in Parashara, and even where it is used it is read as intensity rather than misfortune.
Rahu in the 5th, Ketu in the 11th
Rahu sits in Dhanu (Sagittarius) at 23°25′ in your 5th house, in Purva Ashadha pada 4. The 5th is the house of creativity, study, children and intelligence. Rahu here brings a restless appetite for new ideas, unconventional subjects and learning that goes beyond the usual syllabus.
Ketu sits in Mithuna (Gemini) at 23°25′ in your 11th house, in Punarvasu pada 2. In the house of gains and networks, Ketu gives a certain detachment: you may value a few meaningful friendships over a large circle, and gains may come through quiet expertise rather than self-promotion. Neither placement forms a dosha in your chart.
Pitra, Grahan and ancestral doshas
Pitra dosha and Grahan dosha both look at the Sun and the Moon, the two lights of the chart, and at their meeting with Rahu and Ketu.
Pitra dosha: not present
Pitra dosha, the dosha linked with ancestors, is checked three ways: the Sun with Rahu or Ketu, Rahu or Ketu in the 9th house, and the lord of the 9th with Rahu or Ketu. None of these forms in your chart.
Your Surya sits in Karka in your 12th house, away from both nodes. Your 9th house, the house of father, teachers and fortune, is Mesha (Aries), with no node in it. Its lord Mangal sits in your 1st house, and neither Rahu nor Ketu is with him.
Grahan dosha: not present
Grahan dosha, named after the eclipse, forms when the Sun or the Moon shares a sign with Rahu or Ketu. Your Surya is in Karka and your Chandra in Tula, while the nodes are in Dhanu and Mithuna, so neither light is eclipsed in your chart.
Even without a dosha, the tradition of remembering and thanking one’s ancestors is a gentle and meaningful practice. Families traditionally observe shraddha during Pitru Paksha and care for elders through the year; these are acts of gratitude, not remedies for a problem you have.
Guru Chandal, Shrapit, Angarak and Vish
These four doshas each look at two grahas sharing a sign. They are later traditions, and in your chart none of them forms.
Guru Chandal and Shrapit
Guru Chandal is Jupiter in the same sign as Rahu. Your Guru is in Simha and your Rahu in Dhanu, so it does not form. Guru is also not with Ketu, which some traditions count as a milder form.
Shrapit dosha is Saturn with Rahu. Your Shani is in Makara in your 6th house and your Rahu is in Dhanu in your 5th: neighbouring signs, but not the same one, so Shrapit dosha does not form.
Angarak and Vish
Angarak dosha is Mars with Rahu or Ketu. Your Mangal is in Simha, apart from both nodes, so it does not form.
Vish dosha is the Moon with Saturn. Your Chandra is in Tula and your Shani is in Makara, so it does not form. Your Moon is free of the heavy combinations these doshas describe, which is one reason the mind in your chart is warm and sociable rather than weighed down.
Kemadruma and Gandmool
Two checks look at the Moon itself: whether it has company on either side, and whether its nakshatra is one of the six Gandmool stars.
Kemadruma: formed, then cancelled
Kemadruma forms when no graha, other than the Sun and the nodes, sits in the 2nd or 12th sign from the Moon. Your Moon in Tula has Vrishchika (Scorpio) and Kanya (Virgo) on either side, and both are empty, so Kemadruma forms.
The classical texts also give its cancellation: planets in a kendra, an angular house, from the Lagna or the Moon. Your 1st house holds four grahas, Mangal, Budh, Guru and Shukra, so Kemadruma is cancelled. Traditionally a cancelled Kemadruma is read as someone who builds their own support around them, and your chart shows exactly that: a crowded, confident Lagna around a sociable Tula Moon.
Gandmool: not present
The six Gandmool nakshatras are Ashwini, Ashlesha, Magha, Jyeshtha, Mula and Revati. Your Moon is in Chitra, pada 3, which is not one of them, so there is no Gandmool shanti to consider.
Shani: Sade Sati and Dhaiya
Sade Sati is the roughly seven and a half years in which transiting Saturn passes through the 12th, 1st and 2nd signs from your Moon. A Dhaiya is Saturn’s transit through the 4th or 8th from the Moon.
Your Saturn periods
Neither Sade Sati nor a Dhaiya is running for you now. Your last Dhaiya, with transiting Saturn in the 4th from your Moon, ran from January 2020 to January 2023.
The next is a Dhaiya with transiting Saturn in the 8th from your Moon, from August 2029 to May 2032. Your Sade Sati begins in October 2038 and runs to December 2046. That is many years away, and there is plenty of time to prepare calmly rather than worry.
Why your Shani helps
How a Saturn period feels depends a great deal on natal Saturn. Your Shani is in Makara, its own sign, in your 6th house, the house of work, service and overcoming obstacles. This is one of Saturn’s strongest placements. People with a strong natal Saturn tend to meet its periods with discipline and come out of them with something solid built.
The practical preparation is Saturn’s own: steady routines, careful finances, keeping promises and respect for people who work hard with their hands. Build those habits before 2029 and the Dhaiya becomes a period of consolidation rather than strain.
Your Moon is in Tula, a sign ruled by Shukra, and Shukra is a natural friend of Saturn. Traditionally, Saturn’s transits over a Moon in a friendly sign are felt as demanding rather than harsh: more responsibility and more structure, with the reward arriving steadily through the period.
Traditional practices
These are traditional supports, chosen for the one mild dosha in your chart and for Saturn’s coming periods. They are never a condition for a good life.
For Mangal
Mangal’s day is Tuesday. Traditionally, reciting the Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays, offering red lentils or sweets at a Hanuman temple, and choosing physical effort over angry words are the practices associated with a strong Mars. Regular exercise is the most practical of all.
For Shani, before 2029
Saturday is Shani’s day. Lighting a sesame-oil lamp on Saturdays, reciting the Shani stotra, and helping labourers or the elderly are the classic practices. Gemstones such as blue sapphire are sometimes suggested for Saturn, but only after a trusted astrologer has examined the whole chart, and never out of fear.
For the mind and the Moon
Your Tula Moon is steadied by harmony, beauty and good company. Monday is the Moon’s day; simple food, time near water and honest conversation with people you trust are the most natural supports. With Kemadruma cancelled by your own Lagna, the tradition’s advice is simply to keep building the circle of people around you that your chart already favours.
How this report was made
Every dosha in this report was checked by the iAstroGuru Engine, using the Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses. Each dosha’s rule is written out in the engine, and the later traditions are marked as such.
The text was written from these calculated facts and checked automatically against the chart before release. Astrology is an interpretive tradition, not a scientifically established way to predict events, and nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice. This sample was prepared for a fictional person, Aarav Sharma.
