Sade Sati: count Saturn from the Moon
Practise the three-sign Sade Sati test with Aarav’s Libra Moon, without treating a transit as a threat.
हिंदी में पढ़ेंOur worked examples use fictional Aarav Sharma: 15 August 1991, 06:40, Jaipur, India. Vedic examples use Lahiri sidereal and whole-sign houses. Western examples use the tropical zodiac. The dated report sample is from 30 September 2026.
The three signs
Sade Sati traditionally means Saturn travelling through the sign before your natal Moon, the Moon sign itself and the following sign. Roughly two and a half years per sign gives the familiar seven-and-a-half-year name. Retrograde returns mean exact boundaries need checking rather than simple addition.
Count from Aarav’s Libra Moon
Fictional Aarav has a Libra Moon. The relevant signs are therefore Virgo, Libra and Scorpio: 12th, 1st and 2nd from his Moon. In the September 2026 sample Saturn is in Pisces, sixth from Libra, so the sample does not show Sade Sati. This is a dated example; use the tool for the current position.
Keep the interpretation proportionate
The tradition associates Saturn with patience, responsibility and steady effort. A transit is not evidence of unavoidable loss or illness. Check the correct Moon sign, keep alternatives if birth time is uncertain, and use practical routines you find helpful. No purchase or remedy is required to be safe.
Astrology is a tradition for reflection. These examples do not establish predictive accuracy or replace your own decisions.
