Diwali, the festival of lights, is five days of lamps, family and Lakshmi puja. Here are the days for your city, worked out by the advanced iAstroGuru Engine.
Dates can vary with place and tradition. Check your family’s or temple’s local observance too.
About the festival date
Lakshmi Puja is associated with Kartika Amavasya, called Ashwin Amavasya in the amanta calendar. Dhanteras, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj have their own observances. Use each date shown below for your chosen city rather than assuming all five days fall on consecutive dates.
How India celebrates

Maharashtra: Diwali Padwa and Bhau-beej close the festival.
